Drop in Hatha class at Harris

Community class - Thursdays 7.30-9pm.

All welcome; from absolute beginners to experienced practitioners.

This class starts with a gentle series of breath led movements which help you to settle in to the felt sense of being in your body. We then progress into more dynamic postures, both still and in flow, before winding down with some restful and restorative yoga. All of this is designed to soothe the nervous system and bring balance and ease to body and mind.

Drop in Hatha class at Oru

Morning class - Fridays 10.30 - 11.15am.

Gentle Hatha class to relax and renew on a Friday morning. Experience the connection between mind, body and breath in this all levels class. Keen to slow things down and find more awareness moment to moment? Or perhaps you are new to a yoga practice? Then this is a great place to start. Strong, mindful and considered, this practice focuses on building the foundations of a practice, centred around the breath.

Join me from the comfort of your own home. Group and 1 - to - 1 classes can be run on Zoom. Classes are live and in real time and we can see and speak to one other.

In these classes there will be modifications for beginners or those with injuries to make it gentler, as well as stronger variations of the postures for those who enjoy a challenge. Please note that all who join must take responsibility for their own physical and mental wellbeing and practice online classes at their own risk.

Classes can be offered either in my home in Nunhead, south east London, or I can travel to your home or workplace. This is a wonderful way to personalise a yoga practice to suit each individual’s needs, interests and circumstances. You get to develop a personally tailored practice routine that supports you, whether there is a specific issue you would like to work with, or are simply curious to explore more deeply into alignment, movement flow, relaxation and breathwork. You will be able to go at your own pace and feel free to ask questions in a calm and quiet environment. 1-to-1 classes can help you:

• Develop awareness of mind and body
• Undo stress and anxiety
• Feel more alive and conscious in each moment
• Enhance focus and attention
• Improve coordination and proprioception
• Balance the nervous system
• Support healthy immune function

1 hour is £75. An additional fee may be applicable for me to travel to you. In honour of accessibility I can offer a sliding scale to make sure money is not an obstacle to wellness. All private yoga classes have a 24 hour cancellation policy.
