Postnatal Yoga Workshops
Part of the New Mama Nurture series at Oru Dulwich
These monthly postnatal yoga workshops offer a cosy, welcoming space for new mums to rest and connect. Each themed session weaves together gentle postnatal yoga led by Tiffy, guidance from a guest expert, and relaxed circle-style conversation, with a soft close over a cuppa. Pre-crawling babies are very welcome.
They offer a nourishing blend of movement, grounding, open conversation, and community - a chance to exhale, feel heard, and receive support as you find your footing in early motherhood.
We always finish gently, with time to enjoy a warm drink, a sweet treat, and relaxed chats with other mamas and their little ones.

Preparing for Second Spring, Peri-Menopause Yoga Workshop

In this workshop, we look at the physiological understanding of what’s going on during peri-menopause and menopause, and the triggers that can aggravate the most common and intense symptoms, such as low mood, lethargy, sluggish digestion and lack of zest for life.
We will practice yoga for soothing these unsettling symptoms and also get snuggled in with some deeply soothing guided Yoga Nidra meditation to explore the transformational possibilities.
We will explore a toolkit of techniques, guidance, reflection and support to help you move through your menopause journey with ease and confidence. It will provide an enjoyable and safe space where women can come together and share their experiences, laugh and embrace the changes while also learning from one another. Practising yoga in the company of other women can feel supportive and reminds us that we are not alone.
Tiffy has been trained in Menopause Yoga by Petra Coveney in offering holistic support to women navigating the challenges and the possibilities as they move through their own unique menopause journey.
No previous yoga experience is required.
The workshop will include:
• An introduction to the stages of menopause and how hormone changes affect our body and mind.
• A safe and supportive women’s circle.
• A yoga practice especially designed to alleviate the most common menopause symptoms, including breathing techniques, gentle vinyasa flow, restorative yoga and mindful meditation practices.
• Journaling and self-reflection.
Befriend your pelvis workshop series
This workshop series is centred around bringing about more understanding and connection to this often under appreciated part of the body. With the legs below and the core above, the pelvis is the physical and energetic fulcrum of the body. The pelvic area can be too gripped or too weak, or both. Mindfully strengthening and stabilising the pelvic floor helps to create the correct foundation for each movement in the body.
In these workshops we will locate the layers of the pelvic floor within our pelvis. We will explore the dynamics of our pelvic floor in relation to the mechanics of our breathing and in relation to our posture and movement. We will learn ways to help develop more flexibility, strength, and coordination of our pelvic function.
Pelvic health can often be overlooked until we are presented with an issue; pelvic pain, bladder weakness, prolapse, digestive, menstrual and sexual difficulties etc. These workshops will support you whether you are going through a current pelvic health issue, or are simply curious to find out how to best support a happy, healthy pelvis.

Menopause Yoga workshop series
For most women, the approach and transition through menopause can be an unsettling time, with each woman experiencing her own concoction of symptoms, ranging from hot flushes and irritability, anxiety, brain fog and overwhelm, to lethargy and low mood. Yoga can be our best friend at this time of change; offering simple techniques for easing and reducing our symptoms.
Through yoga we can relieve stress and reset the nervous system towards rest. We can build up our musculoskeletal and cardiovascular health and energetic vitality.
In these workshops you will learn simple breathing exercises and yoga poses, mindfulness and other meditation techniques, which you can use every day in your own life to carve your most easeful and positive way through your menopause.
Workshops are themed according to the symptoms you are going through and to the menopause ‘season’ you are in.
There will be an interactive women’s circle discussion, 90 minutes yoga class, and general advice on topics ranging from nutrition, natural remedies and holistic wellbeing, to maintaining pelvic health and vitality as we age, and medical factual information on HRT.
